Oh, the places you will go

Me on Navy Pier, Chicago Illinois

If you offer me somewhere to go, I'll probably take you up on it. I love going places and seeing new things. I am originally from San Diego California, but moved to Minnesota when I was 10. I stay in Minnesota during the school year, and travel during the summer. I recently have been trying new places in MN, that are actually pretty cool, for example, downtown. I was driving downtown and I saw this huge mural of Bob Dylan, and thought wow! Thats really cool! I feel like Minnesota is a completely different place if you are older, and you can drive yourself places. I am 16 now, so I can drive myself places and see things for myself. Downtown Minneapolis is super cool, I know your probably thinking to yourself that its probably just like any other downtown, but if you ever come here, you'll see what I mean. I've been to a ton of cities and none of them are like Minneapolis. I love Chicago too, they have great shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend going around the holidays, the Christ Crinkle Market is super cool, and the shows on Navy Pier are hilarious! I can hear my grandma sally, who was from Chicago, saying, " Oh I just knew you would love it, I just knew it!" Ugh, I miss her so much. If you can't tell by now, I'm a big city girl, I will take going shopping and getting massages any day, over hanging out in the country, thats just my thing though, I've always liked big places with lots of people and pretty views of the ocean and hills, I guess thats just the California girl in me speaking. My favorite states are actually California, Colorado, and a tie between North Carolina and Nevada. I love the mountains and the desert. Call me boring, and the desert ugly, but I like the hills and hot weather with the cactus, and if you are by Henderson, you'll know what I mean, it's not just brown and dry, there are trees and nice weather. I LOVE Colorado, its beautiful, you have every type of weather there, you can ski in the winter, and hike during the summer, it's so pretty, I went there in the summer, and I loved it. Out of all the places I will talk about, Colorado is a place you have to go. I recommend Glenwood Springs, Fort Collins, and Boulder are nice too, but Glenwood Springs just gives you a different scenery, in the best way possible. Before I know it, I'll be leaving for college, I know i'll either be going to Texas or California for school, so I won't have to worry about any cold weather(thank god)!. Living in Minnesota has increased my tolerance in weather, 45 and sunny, use to be puffer jacket and jeans , with socks and shoes, in San Diego, in Minnesota thats shorts weather! Well, for some, personally I'm always cold so you can always catch me wearing long sleeves unless its in the 80's. My parents might be moving to Colorado or Idaho, once I leave for college, I'm really praying for Colorado. Its gonna be weird when I'm in California, and there wherever there gonna be. Wherever they end up, I'm sure they will enjoy it, I think this will be the last move, so they will decide on a place they won't ever get bored of! Moving to Minnesota, has taught me that you can go anywhere, and it can be your home, as long as you have some really good friends, and fun places to go. I think the photo below describes life pretty well, "The Times they are a Changin".
