Multiple Sclerosis
As I said in my bio, my mom has MS, I would like to give you some facts about MS because not many people have heard of it, but people suffer from it and don't realize what it is like. Multiple Sclerosis can affect any person at any age, my mom got diagnosed when she has 24, she was like any other young adult in college (University of Kansas) until she had severe pain and migraines. She later got a spinal tap, and tests confirmed that she did have Multiple Sclerosis. She didn't let that stop her from living her best life though, and 6 years later I was born, a year after she started using a wheelchair because that was easier and quicker to move. She can walk, but a wheelchair just makes things faster and easier for her, There is not a cure yet, but there are medicines that you can take to slow it down. There are many horrible side affects to MS, thankfully my mom only has walking as the only side affect, some of the side affects are speech problems, holding on to things, and sudden movements. Multiple Sclerosis, to my mom, is only a word, she does not let that stop her from doing anything. I thank my mom for everything (and dad too) but she does so much for me that she doesn't have to, and goes out of her way to be the best mom ever, and a "thank you" can't ever express how thankful and lucky I truly am. Below are some Facts about MS that I think are interesting and can give you a better definition than I could.
